SYNOPSIS
Marco the fox has many questions and needs to travel the world to get answers.
Sylvia the deer is an intrepid captain of a beautiful ship.
Victor the pigeon and his team volunteer to be the ship’s crew.
And they’re off to a “wonderful island, with tall, sweet grass and short, sweet trees”, with plenty of trials and adventures along the way.
The story is a beautiful allegory – or just beautiful, whichever you prefer. Either way, strongly recommend – an all-time favorite book in our house.
